THE SHORT STORY

Baffled by boundary layers? Join us for a seminar-style exploration of Kundu Cohen's Fluid Mechanics, aided by course notes from 2.25 — Advanced Fluid Mechanics at MIT. Topics will be tailored to the background and interest of the participants.

THE LONG STORY

Join us for six weeks of advanced fluid mechanics in a seminar reading and discussion format. Pace and scope will be decided by participants. Suggested background includes comfort with vector calculus and some prior exposure to the equations of fluid mechanics.

We will work primarily from Fluid Mechanics, and the course notes from MIT's 2.25 — Advanced Fluid Mechanics (via MIT OpenCourseWare). We'll be meeting weekly at the West Branch of the Somerville Public Library.

Contact Daniel Bergey with questions about the course. If you'd like to find out what sort of financial support is available (including sliding scale and work trade options), get in touch with Alec.
